Overview

Seeking energetic individuals for year-round/full time management positions enabling you to achieve a long-term career learning to manage your own multi-million-dollar Distribution Center.

Those with experience in landscaping, Garden Centers, and construction are urged to apply.

Responsibilities

In addition to management skills, the position requires a “hands-on” approach from loading/ unloading trucks, yard maintenance, equipment operation, and including but not limited to the following:

Direct and Assist in the daily activities of the nursery labor force as it relates to yard layout, product placement, loading, unloading, maintenance, customer service etc.
Directs and Assists in the receiving of incoming plant material, ensuring quality control, and accurate counts
Manages Company Truck Driver activities.
Maintains all Company trucks & nursery equipment.
Direct and Assist in the proper horticultural care and maintenance of all nursery stock including irrigation, and fertilization etc.Directs deployment of yard sales and service personnel to ensure superior customer service throughout all product areas and is personally involved in providing that customer service.
Maintains inventory control processes
Maintains site housekeeping operations both outside and inside the facility, in order to maintain an attractive, professional, and safe shopping environment for customers.
Contributes to the training of laborers

Requirements

Successful Candidates should have experience in at least 1 of the following areas:

Landscape Installation & Maintenance
Grounds Maintenance and/or athletic fields
Paver Installation (pavers, walkways, and walls)
Garden Center Experience
Personnel Management of Installation crews or Garden Center personnel
Landscape Design

2 Years’ experience is preferred. Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. Ability to drive front end loaders and forklifts. Ability to set priorities and manage personnel. We provide full training to qualified individuals.
