General Laborer/Customer Service Associates

We are looking for seasonal workers for a Landscape Distribution Center.

Our team of horticulture experts at Northern Nurseries in Barrington, NH is looking for three hard-working individuals for full-time seasonal positions as Landscape General Laborer/Customer Service Associates. The season is from March through October – depending on seasonal weather fluctuations.

In this position you will:

• Speak with customers regarding their current orders and write new orders
• Load and unload plant materials in most weather conditions outside
• Maintain nursery stock – this includes watering, moving stock around the yard, maintaining the nursery stock, and other duties as assigned
• Various job duties that are related to nursery maintenance

The position requires physicality; you must be able to lift 50 pounds without assistance.  Previous experience with equipment such as forklift and front-end loaders & knowledge of nursery stock or plants is a PLUS.

Requirements:

• Ability to work outside in most weather conditions
• Physicality – you must be able to life 50 pounds unassisted
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have a clean driving record
