We’re looking for Seasonal CDL Class B Truck Drivers who want to grow with us and make an impact. While this role is seasonal, there is opportunity for year-round employment for top performers.

What You’ll Do:

  • Drive delivery trucks safely to assigned destinations, following all federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure the truck is maintained, clean, and ready for delivery.
  • Help unload at customer sites, accurately document shortages, damages, or discrepancies, and communicate them to management.
  • Refuel vehicles at leasing sites or using company fuel cards.
  • Maintain equipment such as piggyback forklifts (“spyder”), ensuring proper function and safety.
  • Handle COD deliveries, communicate with customers professionally, and resolve delivery issues.
  • Complete required paperwork: DVIRs, logbooks, and trip reports according to DOT regulations.
  • Support the team as needed, including assisting with loading, tarping/untarping, and yard organization.
  • Maintain professionalism and represent Northern Nurseries positively at all times.

Requirements:

  • Valid CDL Class B license with current medical card.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, seasonal environment with minimal supervision.
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and climb.
  • Willingness to work in all weather conditions.
  • Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, logbooks, and Hours of Service rules.
  • Ability to operate and maintain a piggyback forklift.
  • Must pass drug and alcohol testing as required by FMCSA.
  • Professional, courteous, and safety-minded at all times.
